Blue Beach is on the north west of the Akrotiri peninsula of Crete, where the Mediterranean meets the Ionian sea.

The scenery here is so spectacular that it was used as the location for filming Zorbas the Greek. Today, it is still wonderfully unspoiled; an area of natural beauty and tranquility, yet only nine miles from Chania (pronounced, and sometimes spelt Hania) and the beautiful old Venetian port.

Once a week, they organize "BBQ" or a "Greek evening" complete with Greek and Cretan music and dancing lessons. You can be taught how to dance :syrtaki", "zeibekiko", and traditional Cretan dances.
Blue Beach has also a mini shop and a range of facilities such as windsurfing, diving and water-skiing. Best of all it has a sheltered, sandy beach just seconds stroll from your apartment.

It is also perfect and safe for children, fully equipped with sun beds and umbrellas and excellent for water sports.
